Asreen zangana is a filmmaker born in wisconsin, who specializes in super 8mm pictures. Asreen now lives and works in NYC.
Asreen has no formal education a high school degree *plus* two years of higher education before dropping out (not film school.) They were once considering a career in Geology...
Asreen learns purely by doing and considers watching movies as all the education they need.  With the lack of institutionalized learning, they are able to create their own filmic language.

Asreen would like to note that Orson Welles, Gene Wilder, and Willem Dafoe are all from Wisconsin.
